SpaceX Starship interior concept for 100 passengers by Joseph Lantz

Joseph Lantz has created his concept for the interior layout of SpaceX's 100-passenger Starship (the passenger capacity goal stated by Elon Musk). Therefore this concept isn't meant for the first crew Starships on Mars used as temporary habitats for the first few years (those first Starships will have much smaler crew). The concept divides the pressurized living space into 8 decks (here shown from top to bottom) and follows a common design choice of a central stairway through all the decks.

  1. My opinion:
It is impossible to make a normal transport liner for a hundred people in this space.
That is why there are rumors about the increase in diameter and height of gratitude.
However, first you need to work out a smaller size of the ship, which later will still be needed as
as a shuttle for the orbit-surface route and for a small research ship. But in the 18-meter diameter is quite realistic to fit a Martian liner for a hundred chotov.

P.S. Later, a small research ship can fit into an 18-meter diameter with a simultaneous increase in the amount of fuel, and therefore with the ability to fly faster.

  2. Yeah once half those people start moving then it will get really crowded really fast. Now if we theroretically figure out cryosleep then it would work
