SpaceX Starship docking to Von Braun Rotating Space Station

Several renders by architect Tim Alatorre (from Domum Architects) of SpaceX's stainless steel Starship docking to Gateway Foundation's proposed Von Braun Rotating Space Station (precursor to its more ambitious Gateway Spaceport) with artificial spin gravity.

  1. If you had habitats that could be re-positioned along the struts you could simulate multiple gravities simultaneously.
    That way the main ring could always be kept at 1G for 'residence' but you keep the options available for scientific and fun excursions.
    Beyond the research this would have benefits of training for Martian/moon gravity or building back up to earth 1G after extended periods on the Moon/Mars etc.
    Just as an idea straight out of scifi - if you find an elderly billionaire with joint or bone issues you might be able to offer a better standard of living at 0.5G

    1. That's the reasoning beyond Gateway Foundation's proposed, more ambitious "Gateway Spaceport" architecture with zero-G sector at the center and concentric rings with Lunar-G and Martian-G (maybe later adding also a 1G ring).
