NatGeo's "Mars" TV series - cover art for season 2

Season 2 of National Geographic's MARS part documentary, part fiction TV series is starting today. In season 1 the series depicted first human mission to Mars and hardships of building a base on Mars. The six-episode season 2 will dig deeper into the challenges of life on Mars, from the first Martian-born babies to first commercial efforts to exploit the planet's resources.

NatGeo's "Mars" TV series - HD images from season 2

National Geographic's "Mars" part documentary, part fiction TV series depicted first human mission to Mars and hardships of building a base on Mars in a lava tube in season 1. The six-episode season 2 promises to dig deeper into the challenges of life on Mars, covering everything from the first Martian-born babies to surviving the common cold to the first commercial efforts by Lukrum Corporation to exploit the planet's resources. Season 2 will be broadcasted worldwide starting on November 12th.

HD images from the season 2 trailer of NatGeo's "Mars" TV series

National Geographic has released a season 2 trailer for its "Mars" TV series. The fictional documentary series depicted first human mission to Mars and hardships of building a base on Mars in a lava tube in season 1. Marines on Mars - images from Space: Above and Beyond (1995) TV series

Space: Above and Beyond (1995-1996) is a one season sci-fi TV show set in the years 2063-2064 and depicting humanity's fight against an alien race attacking the first extra-solar human colony. The show focuses on a squadron of US Marine Corps space cavalry. A small part in the first episode takes place on Mars and here are some images from that part:

Occupy Mars - simulation game about Mars colonization

Occupy Mars is an upcoming (as of today: TBD 2018) highly technical open world simulation game about Mars colonization from Polish indie game developer Pyramid Games. In the game you will be able to "build and upgrade your base, discover new amazing regions, conduct mining operations, retrieve water and generate oxygen, grow crops, fix broken parts, learn how to survive on Mars!"

Here are some promo images, posters and a trailer from the developer. Note the SpaceX style spacesuit and ITS 2016 spaceship(s) near the base.

Images from Escape from Mars (1999) TV movie

Escape from Mars (1999) is a TV movie about first human mission to Mars in 2016. Five astronauts are flying with spaceship very similar to the Space Shuttle and the mission is financed by a private corporation setting profit-oriented goals. During the voyage and on Mars they encounter near-catastrophic events but in the end find bacterial life on Mars. Escape from Mars is a low-budget TV movie, having poor special effects and weak camera job, but the acting and script is decent. Here are some images from the movie:
